The Weight Loss Academy teaches you how to lose weight and keep it off without starving yourself

You will meet for 8 sessions with your fellow academy travellers where your journey will be monitored. Each session will include a 45 minute activity element.

  • Session 1. Enrol on your own journey, meet your fellow travellers for your initial weigh-in and measure
  • Session 2. Understand food labels and fat in our food
  • Session 3. Carbohydrates and alcohol
  • Session 4. Protein and recipe ideas
  • Session 5. Taking control
  • Session 6. Putting it all together
  • Session 7. The way forward
  • Session 8. Final weigh-in and measure


The most important factor in the Weight Loss Academy principals is to avoid extremes, which so many other programmes advocate.

  • Why eating regularly throughout the day and not skipping meals is important
  • Cut down on fats and sugars but do not eliminate them
  • Eat small portions of balanced foods
  • Read all food labels and learn about the food you are eating
  • Include an activity every day

Because you are only human the Weight Loss Academy provides guidelines for those times when you might fall off your plan.
